Ryan is a native of Halifax, Pennsylvania, relocated to Maryland to attend Western Maryland College and has been here ever since.
After graduating in 2001 with a B.A. in Exercise Science, Ryan went on to teach in Baltimore County for 16 years, mostly at the high school level while coaching football and baseball.
In 2018 Ryan pursued his passion for animals and made the switch into the veterinary world. He is loving his new gig as the Practice Manager at OMVC and enjoys working with his patients, their pet parents and with Dr. Paynter and the rest of the wonderful staff at Owings Mills Veterinary Center.
Ryan still coaches football in his spare time at Franklin High School and resides in Hampstead, MD with his wife – Ashley, daughter – Brooke, and son – Jett.
