Dr. Jasmine Franklin is a native of Baltimore County and received her Bachelors of Science from Tuskegee University, located in Alabama. After graduation, she worked as a veterinarian assistant for over 5 years before taking the next step. She moved to the beautiful island of St.Kitts to attend Ross University, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She completed her clinical year at The Ohio State University before returning to Maryland to practice small animal medicine.
While in school, Dr. Franklin had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica to provide veterinary services to underserved communities. It was on this trip, she discovered her passion for preventative care, surgery, and animal behavior.
Dr. Franklin enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching horror movies, and spoiling her Shih-poo Saber.
